If you wanted to know where all the upbeat and trendy people go, this is the place. The interior designer of this place did an amazing job- beautiful hanging plants and a very neat resting/eating area with a swing! This place has the famous Pop Bar and other great restaurants. If you have the time, check out the Grilled Cheese Bar for yummy sandwiches (if you're not sure what to order, #1 is the bomb!)

There’s something so intrinsically “summer” about Southern California. It must be attributed to the sun, sun, sun constantly beating down, the prolific palm trees, strappy tops, flowy dresses, and sweat dripping off my face if I’m not in front of a fan at home.

Maybe because I have so many memories of perfect summer mornings and lounging outside on summer nights (while shoveling watermelon into my mouth) that it hasn’t quite felt like summer while I’ve been staying in NorCal. Fall semester starts in a few days, and I’m already afraid of the imminent stress.

A couple of days before I left, I had decided I absolutely needed to go home one more time before school started. I’m so glad I did - I made the most of my three days there (two spent traveling on the bus ~_~), did so many things, and saw all of my favorite people!

Throwback to the beginning of summer to when I hung out with my good friend, Carrie! We watched The Fault in Our Stars, had some amazing ramen, and then decided to chill at Santa Monica Pier. Outfit for February! Amidst all the projects, homework, and midterms of our busy college life,  our goal is to post at least twice a month (starting with February) of a complete look, including nails, accessories and shoes! This whole outfit, including the watch, is actually from Taiwan, which you should totally go to if you have the time for a vacation. Taiwan has the best food and shopping districts for jaw-dropping prices, in a good way of course. The shoes are from Target and headband is Forever 21. The nails were a simple design I did myself and look forward to more nail art in the future! :)

With California experiencing a drought, hopefully this downpour in the Bay Area is enough to bring out a change in the conditions. And of course, bring out cute rainy day (or week) outfits! Since Allison didn't want to get her camera wet, we had to make do with our dorm's lounge, which is currently decorated in preparation for Valentine's Day. If you couldn't tell, Michelle really likes green. The complementary boots and umbrella are courtesy of Target.
